Seeking a Technical Product Manager for Point of Care services for a 100% Remote position.

The Point of Care, Technical Product Manager, is experienced, driven, and energetic. A results-oriented individual with a creative and analytical mind, seeking a culture of innovation. A person experienced with advanced product management skills, an affinity for product development, and a passion for clinical diagnostics. This newly created position is part of a dynamic and growing Point of Care Diagnostic team.

In this role, this person will help envision, build, and take to market differentiated data management solutions to be deployed at point of care and within the ecosystem

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes, and define needed systems capabilities for our customers, ensuring requirements are well understood and validated
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
  • Work closely with product delivery teams to deliver quality, timely product delivery, with optimal resources
  • Work in a highly collaborative environment with Product Development, Customer Success, Sales and Marketing, and Finance, to ensure all stakeholders are in alignment with a winning strategy
  • Develop systems and process improvement strategies and roadmaps in partnership with business functions and customer needs
  • Build relationships with key business stakeholders and understand business objectives and processes
  • Conduct Pre-market analysis for Business Case
  • Translate Product requirements/user requirements into user stories
  • Act as Liaison to suppliers
  • Manage and resolve product issues
  • Provide in-depth specific technical knowledge of software solutions and competitive offerings
  • Provide ongoing input to improve quantitative and quantitative data collection for product management using customer data and internal customer-facing departments
  • Interface with service and implementation team/quality manager to implement changes to product or process uncovered in these areas
  • Develop technical content for customer /sales/and service training
  • Develop a Product Roadmap
  • Support field sales organization on highly technical product inquiries; provide product information, including technical data.
  • Communicate and coordinate the release of new features while promoting and monitoring adoption
  • Make product obsolescence and discontinuation decisions for lifecycle management.
  • Maintain up to date product documentation
  • Support Field trials
  • Contribute to Next Generation specifications and design
  • Work to ensure business and customer satisfaction of on-market products, thereby ensuring revenue and promoting excellence in point of care veterinary diagnostics.
  • Promote the integration of the product to portfolio of diagnostic solutions
  • Establish expertise in customer use of products, pleasure and pain points of products compared to competitors, industry wishes, and veterinary medical standards of care.
  • Work with customer-facing teams to gather data and analyze issues, call drivers, and service events.
  • Execute product improvements and optimizations that increase customer satisfaction.
  • Provide expertise and input on product development requirements or substantial changes/additions to existing on-market products
  • Provide management with analyses, status updates and reports
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding, while creating buy-in for the product vision both internally and externally

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • 5 + years of experience in technical product management in data management and connectivity solutions
  • A willingness to roll up your sleeves and switch between strategy and tactical execution
  • Self-starter with ability to manage a variety of large programs and deliverables at once
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (i.e. Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or equivalent technical work experience (e.g. software engineer, network engineer etc.)

  • Expert in data management workflow and efficiency

  • Proficient in data analysis and statistics
  • Good leadership skills and experience facilitating cross-functional team activities
  • Desire to see continuous improvement in processes and programs
  • Ability to work as a team member and independently
  • Must possess strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to provide guidance and feedback
  • Computer skills – Comfortably and confidently use a computer and specialized software. Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint , project management software
  • Overnight travel required
