Seeking a Senior .NET Full Stack Developer to develop cloud applications for a 100% Remote position.
In this position you will be helping to build point of care and diagnostic software for the veterinary industry.
Responsibilities
- Create cloud/integration solutions/new application with internationalization/scalability/maintainability in mind and partner with PIMS vendors and development team to develop Proof of concept and proactively provide guidance on API development/modifications as needed.
- Translate requirements to high- and low-level design by Work with Business and technology teams to implement cloud native solutions in Azure, legacy application enhancements using modern design patterns such as SOA and microservices.
- Be a SME in diagnostics application domain and lead the development of applications by migration legacy online applications to cloud, creating custom integrations with on prem and cloud, creating/managing APIs with custom developed applications (AOL), Practice Information Management Systems (PIMS), Point of Care (POC) and labs as needed.
- Work with integration developers and do code reviews, be compliant with consistent development methodologies, patterns & practices and improve on recommendations made as needed.
- Using API first methodology across our ecosystem and help designing products around an API from the ground up. Should be well versed in creating Products, managing Revisions and APIs with minimal vendor impact as needed.
- Develop new feature set or resolve bugs in conjunction with stakeholders in Agile teams.
- Work with IT stakeholders in ensuring compliance to software development practices and identify, communicate and mitigate Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Decisions throughout full life-cycle.
- A Sr software developer is a pivotal role for our business in terms of possessing knowledge of application landscape and delivery as a domain SME in solutions design and keeping lights on.
Skills Requirements
- Excellent technical .NET skills, enabling the creation of future-rich, complex global solutions.
- End to end implementation of Mobile application development methodologies and frameworks for creating business solutions.
- Knowledge and experience in IT methodologies and life cycles that will be used.
- Good working knowledge of APIs along with Microsoft technologies is desired.
- 2+ yrs. Cloud platform experience in Azure and AWS is strongly recommended for this role.
Education
- BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience in related field preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6+ years overall IT industry experience in development and maintaining of APIs and Microsoft applications. Using API first methodology in designing technical solutions for loosely coupled systems.
- Minimum of 6+ years of coding experience in Microsoft Technologies (C#, .net., JavaScript, ASP.NET, entity framework) and good command over database technologies like Oracle.
- Minimum 5+ years of working experience with TFS, GitHub code repositories
- Knowledge of complete software development full life-cycle Agile methodologies, patterns, frameworks, libraries and tools.
- Knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as C#, .Net, Web API, Angular (2 or JS), strong JavaScript, .NET etc.
- Knowledge of Database platforms with unstructured data technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, Azure Data Lake, SQL etc.
- Experience with TFS, GitHub code repositories
- Experience coordinating the intersection of system dependencies and interactions using agile methodologies.
Nice to have
- Experience with multi-tier system and service design and development for veterinary healthcare. (nice to have)
