Seeking a Senior Full Stack .NET API Integration Developer to develop cloud APIs for a 100% Remote position.
In this position you will be helping to build point of care and diagnostic APIs and integrations for the veterinary industry.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical integrations and work with our Practice Information Management Systems (PIMS) vendors for custom integrations with Point of Care (POC) and reference labs.
- Work with PIMS partners and development team to develop Proof of concept and proactively provide guidance on engineering methodologies, standards and leading practices through API modifications as needed.
- Work with Architect and SMEs to ensure solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements and evangelize re-use through implementation of shared assets.
- Work with Lead integration SMEs to ensure code reviews, consistent development methodologies, patterns & practices are followed and improve on recommendations made as necessary.
- Enforce adherence to architectural standards/principles, global product-specific guidelines, usability design standards, etc.
- Identify, communicate and mitigate Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Decisions throughout full lifecycle.
- Using API first methodology and help designing products around an API from the ground up. Should be well versed in creating Products, managing Revisions and Groups in APIM.
- Develop new feature set or resolve bugs in existing applications by working with stakeholders in Agile teams.
Skills Requirements
- Excellent technical .NET development skills, enabling the creation of future-rich, complex global solutions.
- Knowledge and experience in IT methodologies and life cycles that will be used.
- Good working knowledge of APIs along with Microsoft technologies (APIM), or other middleware platforms as Snaplogic, Mulesoft, Informatica will be a great asset.
- Cloud platform experience in Azure and AWS is strongly recommended for this role.
Education
- BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience in related field preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years overall IT industry experience in US East Coast time (EST)
- Minimum of 3+ years of coding experience in Microsoft Technologies (C#, .net., JavaScript, ASP.NET. APIM).
- 2+ years Azure Cloud Architectures and API design patterns working with IaaS, PaaS and SaaS platforms.
- Using API first methodology in designing technical solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure APIM / other frameworks and IaaS, PaaS and SaaS capabilities as needed.
- Experience with multi-tier system and service design and development for large enterprises
Preferred Qualifications
- Software development full life-cycle methodologies, patterns, frameworks, libraries and tools
- Knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as C#, .Net, Web API, Angular (2 or JS), strong JavaScript, .NET etc.
- Knowledge of Database platforms with unstructured data technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, Azure Data Lake, SQL etc.
- Experience with TFS, GitHub code repositories
- Experience coordinating the intersection of system dependencies and interactions using agile methodologies.
