Seeking a JBoss System Administrator for managing application server environment. This is a 100% fully remote role.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, upgrade, and maintain Claim application test environments and deploy and configure claim applications and/or application changes in compliance with software development life cycle (SDLC) procedures.
• Collaborate with maintenance and project teams to plan, perform, and maintain routine application and product modifications, enhancements, and upgrades.
• Demonstrate environment management expertise to assist teams in environment solutions.
• Troubleshoot, facilitate collaboration and resolve test environment issues as well as apply learnings in a continuous improvement capacity.
• Leverage and investigate new tools for automation of deployment, administration and monitoring of test environments.
• Function as a technical generalist having responsibility for the overall health and performance of the Claim test environments.
• Plans and coordinates with on & offshore staff as well as various enterprise operations teams with any upcoming changes in but not limited to software versions, security certificates, interface queues or end points.
• Creates updates and maintains environment and deployment documentation.
• Supports the various test environment integration technologies and overall health of those environment interfaces.

• 1-3 Yrs. experience with App Server configuration (JBoss) and App Architecture.
• 1-3 Yrs. experience with JMS/MQ/WMB, DataPower or other SOA tools.
• 1-3 Yrs. experience of supporting Java & OOPS applications.
• 1-3 Yrs. experience using Linux/Unix.
• Working knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, uDeploy, Jenkins, Nexus, Maven or similar tools.
• Some exposure to Source Code Management is required (GIT).
• B.S./B.A. required.

Preferred

• Understanding of service virtualization and/or service routing through middlewares.
• Understanding of file storage, DB connections, log analysis and other supplemental exposures.
• Working knowledge of WebServer technology (Apache, SunOne or iPlanet).
• Working knowledge of with enterprise database technologies (Oracle/SQL).
• Educational area of focus in CS or MIS

Pluses

• Exposure to Agile framework.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes as well as Rally, Plutora, and ServiceNow products.
