Seeking a Rehabilitation Psychologist to work with our team of neuropsychologists, health psychologists and rehabilitation psychologists in Tampa, Florida.

This is a full-time permanent position opportunity. However, it can also be part-time for those looking for flexible opportunities.

This position is for an adult and geriatric behavioral health care practice. The experienced team of psychiatric and psychological specialists take a collaborative treatment approach in the delivery of post-acute and outpatient behavioral health care.

Primary responsibilities are for the management and treatment of psychiatric patients. Treatment could include nurse practitioner evaluations, pharmacotherapy, and medication management with follow-up to maintain patient stability. Primary patient focus is geriatric patients via mobile in-person care to patients/residents within the senior living community.

Education and Experience

  • PsyD or PhD with current valid FL license to practice as a Psychologist
  • Valid FL driver’s license
  • Credentialed Medicare and Medicaid are preferred
  • Demonstrate compassionate care, team approach, initiative, accountability, flexibility.
  • Knowledge of state regulations and standards related to client treatment, patient rights, and client/patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Care delivery approach enables onsite rounding and tele-psychology. Helps extend care to those most in need while providing our clinical teams with a dynamic treatment environment that helps minimize redundancy and burnout.
  • If you enjoy teaching, our psychologists have the option to supervise postdoctoral fellows as they enhance their understanding of our approach to rehabilitative psychology.
  • We perform various types of assessments and track outcomes using our proprietary analytics platform.
  • Ability to diagnose mental health disorders, conduct psychological and/or neuropsychological assessments.
  • Ability to treat mental health disorders through a variety of modalities, with an emphasis on Evidence Based Psychotherapies, and provide adjunctive interventions for treatment of medical disorders.
  • Provides a full range of psycho-diagnostic services, including assessment and using the most appropriate psychotherapeutic techniques in providing quality care.
  • Provide crisis intervention as indicated.
  • Provide consultation to medical providers regarding the behavioral health components of a patient’s presentation and develops collaborative plans to address symptoms and enhance functioning.
