Seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Cloud Architect for a position in Vienna, VA.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience
• Looking for an experienced Azure DevOps architect with expertise in analyzing and configuring Azure VM scale set, identify performance issues in long running jobs.
• Must have excellent communication and client handling skills
• Design, implement and provide containerized solutions using Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) for Azure VM Scale Set.
• Establish and implement monitoring and management of Azure VM Scale set for both availability and performance management
• Optimize Azure VM Scale Set VM buildouts for cost/performance (VM optimization, reserved instances, etc.)
• Identify performance problems in pipelines and implement resolution for the same
• Architect ADO CICD platform, build and release orchestration, automations using yaml, python, terraform etc.
• Integration of test scripts with Azure DevOps YAML based pipeline

Responsibilities

• Design and provide containerized solutions using Docker, Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) for Azure VM Scale Set.
• Establish and implement monitoring and management of Azure VM Scale set for both availability and performance management
• Drive Identity and access and configuration management, and monitoring strategy for Azure VM Scale Sets
• Deploy and maintain Azure IaaS Virtual Machines and Networking Services to support growth Azure DevOps using Azure scale set
• Optimize Azure VM Scale Set VM buildouts for cost/performance (VM optimization, reserved instances, etc.)
• Architect ADO CICD platform, build and release orchestration, automations using yaml, python, terraform etc.
• Identify performance problems in pipelines and implement resolution for the same
• Build relationships & collaborate across the technical community to establish and implement consistent architecture across all Digital platforms which delivers future technology
• Support continuous delivery approach including tooling and automated testing and deployments
• Proactively manage environment costs to remain in budget and identify opportunities to reduce cost

Desired certifications

• Azure DevOps certification (Mandatory)
• Azure Cloud Certification (Preferred)
