Seeking a Senior Azure Enterprise Information Architect with Diagnostics Experience to develop Point of Care applications for a 100% Remote position.

As the Information EA, you will provide clear direction and guidance on system & solution designs and architecture to ensure appropriate fit with enterprise standards, business and customer needs. Responsibilities

  • The Point of Care Information EA is responsible for designing, driving implementations and managing the information systems and solutions related to the Point of Care business portfolio. The EA will also need to work cross-functionally with the broader technology ecosystem to ensure Enterprise synergy and effectiveness. In addition, the individual will provide guidance and set standards on application development process as well as production support practices.
  • Partner with the Technical Product Management Team to help realize the solutions needed to fully understand, refine and execute on solutions that meet the customer requirements they define
  • Facilitate and drive collaborations between IT and Business departments.
  • Responsible for Point of Care digital innovation. Initiate ideas and have a relentless focus to realize them.
  • The EA is also responsible for cataloging, developing, maintaining, and enforcing overall architecture models and system capabilities needed to perform the company’s business and technology activities.
  • Consider and research emerging cloud and hybrid technologies to improve overall architecture
  • Lead system integration opportunities
  • Audit compliance within the Enterprise Architecture standards
  • Other responsibilities, as needed

Skills Requirements

  • At least two years of experience working as an Enterprise Architect
  • In addition, at least five years of experience in leading software/application development. Besides development tools (e.g., Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, etc.) and active leader roles (e.g., Product Owner, Project Manager, Technical Leads, etc.), practical experience with applying various development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, etc.) are required.
  • Additional experience as a Solution Architect and/or Application Architect are a benefit and previous experience in human and or veterinary software development area are highly desirable
  • Enterprise Architect who has experience working within the Diagnostics space (if not diagnostics, healthcare is a must, with vet health highly preferred)
  • Must have experience within a multi-site organization where you worked with customers at different locations where we had hardware/software on-site at those locations.
  • Must have experience working in a cross-functional environment where they partnered with internal/external stakeholders and 3rd party vendors
  • Must have experience with Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure SQL Database, SQL Server on Azure VM, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, Azure Data Lake, SOAP Web Service, Json, and RESTful API
  • At least two years of experience working with Azure microservices architecture. Comprehensive experience with other Microsoft stack and Azure Cloud technologies is needed
  • Experience in creating logical and physical overall system architectural models. Delivered low-level detailed design documents on various system components like databases and APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with large system trouble shooting, load testing, and performance tuning.
  • Worked with 3rd partner developers, and system administrators, on large-scale integration projects.
  • Exposure to enterprise SOA and microservices projects.
  • Whiteboard and diagramming skills required. Understanding of UML required.
  • Azure API Management, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Functions, Power Apps and Power Platform, other Cloud Serverless technologies. (PaaS and FaaS/Serverless stacks)
  • AWS, DynamoDB, Amazon S3, Google Analytics, etc.
  • Microsoft Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, SQL Server Management Studio, GitHub, JIRA Teams, etc.
  • SOAP Web Service, Json, RESTful API, etc.
  • Business domain knowledge and experience in Veterinary industry, or human healthcare.
  • Experience with Human or Pet Health care application development.
  • Experience of working in a BI/Data Warehouse environment
  • Knowledge of various regulations, e.g., SOX, HIPPA.

Education

  • Master or advanced degree in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline
