Seeking a Senior SSIS Developer with Hadoop experience for a 100% Remote position to work with large volumes of Healthcare data.
IT Developers are responsible for the development, programming, and coding of Information Technology solutions. They will engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle which include: gathering and analyzing user/business system requirements, responding to outages and creating application system models. IT Developers are responsible for documenting detailed system specifications and will participate in evaluating, conducting performance testing, and all planned and unplanned maintenance for both internally developed applications and purchased products. Participate in design meetings and consult with clients to refine, test and debug programs to meet business needs and interact and sometimes direct third party partners in the achievement of business and technology initiatives. IT Developers are responsible for including IT Controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, as well as availability of the application and data processed or output by the application.
Essential/Required Functions
- Will work as a part of the SQL Development team by developing stored procedures
- Create complex SQL, SSIS jobs
- Experience with Polybase tables (data)
- Have experience dealing with large volumes of data
- Have experience and able to read Hadoop code for migration to SQL server processing (Unix shell scripting, SPARK, Python)
Requirements
- 5-8 years of Professional experience as a BI Developer or data scientist
- Rally experience (preferred)
Education
- Related Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Computer science (e.g. specialization: Machine learning/Artificial Intelligence /Visualization, databases, and Big Data), Statistics, Epidemiology, or closely related field with Data Science specialization or additional related equivalent work experience
