Seeking a Senior Windows System Administrator for a position in Billerica, Massachusetts.

We are seeking a strong technical and administrative professional with information technology background and proven track record of developing, enhancing, and working with teams and customers. The ideal candidate will possess expertise and abilities to work as an individual contributor as well as within a diverse technical operations team delivering exceptional ITaaS and Cloud Support services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Must be accomplished at transforming, creating, and managing projects to deliver high-quality technology projects & services.
  • Must possess strong technical knowledge of Cloud management, network, and data center operating systems (Win & Linux) & ITSM tools.
  • Strong sense of urgency on all client events and Corporate IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure best practices are established, implemented, and followed for effective problem resolution in a high availability environment.
  • Ensure change management practices conform to client’s organization standards and same for internal CAB reviews.
  • Display exceptional written and in-person communications.
  • This position will participate in technical initiatives related to the design, implementation, monitoring, problem resolution, disaster planning and overall maintenance of systems infrastructure.
  • Work closely with the Operations group to ensure smooth planning, implementation, and cutovers of systems.
  • Develop partnerships with key IT members and maintain ongoing relationships to provide continuous system improvements.
  • Maintain the systems roadmap for EOS dates, improvements and upgrades and capacity planning functions.
  • Maintain the architecture roadmap for the data and security of systems based on service development and demand to support existing and evolving system services.
  • Participate in all technical aspects of server technology, Virtualization, Storage, Replication, and security internetworking projects including, short and long-term planning.
  • Help evaluate and select systems hardware, software, and services to fulfill various businesses needs as requirements develop.
  • Perform system management functions/troubleshooting/capacity planning/performance monitoring utilizing various systems management/analysis tools.
  • Provide technical support, operations and problem resolution of systems infrastructure as required, including scheduled on-call support.
  • Provide support and implementation planning for business continuity and disaster recovery.
  • Provided technical guidance and knowledge transfer to peers and support personnel.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities with processes / support issues.
  • Create support documents as required.
  • Coordinate and work with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
