Seeking a Senior Accounting Manager for a position in Fountain Valley, CA. This is a full-time permanent position.

This position maintains and controls the General Ledger accounts and transactions of the organization, applying generally accepted accounting principles that include analytical work and thorough review of financial accounting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing 3 Senior Accountants and 1 Staff Accountant
  • Responsible for the administrative duties and development of the staff that will report to this position
  • Monthly P&L and Balance Sheet review
  • Monthly and Quarterly reporting within out financial systems
  • Intercompany reporting and reconciliation
  • Payroll JE Review and analysis
  • Foreign currency translation and unrealized gain/loss calculations
  • Will participate in monthly and quarterly P&L review calls with upper management and Regional Vice Presidents for the lab operations
  • Monitor holdbacks and earnouts from acquisitions
  • Participate and lead in projects that streamline processes within the department
  • Review bank account, fixed assets, intangibles, and R&M schedules
  • Analyze and prepare month accruals as part of financial review
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • 5+ years of related experience
