Seeking a Senior Technical Writer for an exciting role in Palm Bay, Florida.

In this role you will be responsible for developing specialized technical writing along with updating complex illustrations.

This is a full-time permanent position with relocation assistance available. Security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Generating, developing, planning, writing and editing operational, instructional, maintenance or procedures for paper, multimedia or web-based publications.
  
• Possess the ability to work with complex technical drawings using a variety of resources to develop the illustrations.
  
• Develop, organize, and deliver technical information as technical orders, user guides, training materials, and/or installation manuals for non-technical and technical users.
  
• Develop and deliver complex illustrations for technical documentation and other media using various illustration tools (e.g., Visio, Illustrator).
  
• Ability to read engineering or other technical drawings and convert the information into easy-to-understand procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  
• 6 years of experience
• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• Experience creating technical documentation in structured and/or unstructured environments.
  
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  
• Experience using Adobe FrameMaker.
• Experience using Visio, Adobe Illustrator, or other graphic illustration tools.
