Seeking a DevSecOps Lead for a mainly remote / hybrid position in Fountain Valley, CA. This is a full-time permanent position.
The DevSecOps Lead will manage and be part of a small DevSecOps team. It is expected that they have a strong background in working with security in the Azure cloud along with secure coding practices. The DevSecOps team will embed with development teams to drive a security-first approach to software and DevOps Automation. As such, this person should have strong experience with best practices in DevOps practices including automation as well as observability, maintainability, and supportability for a set of complex, business-critical systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Helping to build, lead, and be a technical member of a new DevSecOps team within the organization.
- Drive additional DevOps automation adoption using best practices.
- Embed with the development teams within Antech and drive a security-first approach to software
- Monitor applications from an app/infra and security perspective
- Significant communication will be required across the DevSecOps, Cloud, and Development teams
- Drive selection and adoption of a software security model
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- 2+ years of Azure DevOps pipeline experience.
- Thorough understanding of Software Security Models
- 2+ years of experience with Azure and Azure security
- 2+ years experience with containerization and Kubernetes
- .NET development experience
- Experience with Linux (preferred)
- Experience with Terraform Enterprise (preferred)
- AWS Experience (preferred)
- Ansible experience (preferred)
Education and Experience
- B.S. or higher in Computer Science or related field
- 1+ years of experience leading a small team
- 3+ years in a technical role
