Seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for an exciting position in Santa Barbara, California.

In this role you will help design and manufacture weapons systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop changes for manufacturing and upgrading system as required, cost estimation proposal and development. Directly address customer driven requirements.
  
• Identify areas for quality improvements in production assembly/test and product design. Initiate these changes and plan for schedule impacts.
  
• Electro-mechanical experience with 24VDC military ground mobile systems and subcomponents.
  
• Provide engineering support to maintain and improve product quality, cost avoidance initiatives and on time delivery as required by contract.
  

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience with mechanical engineering.
• BS or MS in Mechanical, Aeronautical or Electrical Engineering
• Technical expertise in hydraulic or mechanical actuation products, electronics, and related technologies, both at the top level and subassemblies
  
• Understanding of manufacturing principles and processes.
