Seeking a Section Chief of Pulmonary Medicine for a great opportunity at a Pediatric Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

In this role you will direct the clinical and operational activities of the department to include but not limited to clinical coverage, physician staffing, nurse practitioners, RNs

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily clinical operations of medical staff
  
• Create a vision and direction for the department
• Provide leadership for operational issues
  
• Be an active physician within the practice
• Mentor/Train clinical staff
• Manage expectations, duties and activity of physicians and nurse practitioners
  

Requirements

• Doctorate in Medicine (M.D. or D.O.)
• Unrestricted PA Medical License
  
• Unrestricted PA medical license
• Graduate from an ACGME Pediatric Residency
• Board Certified - Pediatrics
• 5+ years clinical experience in a pediatric o/p practice
• 3 years' experience in practice leadership & change management
