Seeking a Senior FPGA Engineer to develop custom FPGA firmware. This is a hybrid position located in Canonsburg, PA.

In this role, you will architect, design, and document FPGA firmware hierarchies, components, interfaces, and data flows.

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware with detailed designs descriptions
• Simulate and test firmware components in preparation for integration
• Define FPGA timing, pinout, and placement constraints
• Review synthesis and timing reports, address issues
• Integrate and test firmware on target hardware
• Identify necessary schematic updates and hardware reworks to support the design
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent plus a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
  
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Familiarity with floor planning and timing optimizations
• Working knowledge of standard network protocols (e.g., IPv4, UDP, TCP/IP)
• Implementing custom digital signal processing filters
