I enjoy speaking at events pertaining to career options and challenges that minority groups face in IT and steps I have taken over my 25+ years of experience. As a Cloud Administrator at Cognosante, I provided cloud operations and administration support for federal health IT projects. I leverage my IBM certifications and extensive experience in AIX systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability of the cloud infrastructure and services. I also collaborated with other cloud engineers and architects to design and implement cloud solutions that meet the clients' needs and expectations. In addition to my role at Cognosante, I also work as a Cloud Architect at Carpintero Catracho, a web development company that specializes in AWS-based websites. I design and deploy cloud architectures using AWS, Puppet, VMware, and other tools and technologies. I also oversee the virtual environment and network administration for the company's projects. I have co-authored an IBM Redbook on AIX Enterprise Edition and published multiple patents and publications on cloud computing and AIX systems. I am passionate about learning new skills and staying updated on the latest trends and innovations in the cloud domain.
