Position requires are to design, schedule and implement various software migrations and upgrades on the AS/400, in addition to application requests to bridge differences between software applications across a variety of platforms. Software packages consisted mostly of WMS-Warehouse Management System, Inovis, E3 Replenishments, and Hawkeye.
The position required one to evaluate, plan, develop, test, implement, and manage new development and systems modifications, dealing primarily with multiple Distribution Centers, logistics, and EDI on the AS/400. This included all documentation, any user training needed as well as any operational considerations that needed to be address such as back-ups, printer/hardware setups, and user profile changes. Rotating on-call was split between four analysts to cover all possible operation problems to support the 280 plus locations that consisted of warehouses and public stores.
