This includes all 106 schools and 7 administrative buildings. These efforts support 100,000 students and 15,000 faculty members.
  • Manage and implement all projects from creation to decommission. Develop the scope and statement of work for each project. Identify and Gather Requirements and assigned tasks to resources. Conduct customer site visits to gather lessons learned, and manage projects through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing process groups. Decommission legacy systems before closing out projects.
  • Vendor management: Manage vendors daily both onsite and remotely to ensure all project tasks are completed successfully and on time. Communicate constantly to keep all work efforts on track. Perform Gap Analysis and identify solutions to keep the projects moving forward.
  • Selected Accomplishments includes: Implementation of LeanIX tool, Office Depot's Managed Print Services, a new Student Information System (Infinite Campus), (Power School) SunGard (eSchool 4.0) Upgrade, Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM), Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), (Illuminate) Assessment Tool, Application Development and Configuration Management, Switch Gear and Network refresh, VMWare IFB, VoIP, IPTV, MDM (AirWatch), New AT&T ASE WAN, MS Office 365, Disaster Recovery, Co-Location, and Business Continuity, Low Voltage, New Data Center set up and move, Cyber Security projects, Capital Improvements, Administrative Building move, New Schools, and Summer Renovations. Lead data center migration projects such as: SAP, Shoretel VoIP, Safari Montage, Student Information System, and all supporting servers and applications. All projects had successful data migrations, and some migrations were vendor assisted. This was accomplished through building new environments to house the data and developing failover plans to protect the data. Each migration was specific to the project it supported.
  • Communicate daily with stakeholders from all levels which include: Superintendent, Area Superintendents, CIO, CFO, Principals, and all other departmental Directors and Managers.
  • Responsible for the full scope development, budgeting, management, and successful implementation and rollout of moderate to extremely complex infrastructure projects ranging up to +$10 million each. Manage total project budgets over $60 million.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the business lines, operations, and the technical areas throughout the entire project lifecycle. Ensured that projects followed proper PMO Project Life Cycle methodologies including all required and conditional documentation.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor Capital Improvement summer renovations and new construction for 25 school sites This included coordinating school administration and vendor relocation schedules Communication liaison for construction program managers and general contractors Coordinated temp site moves for technology de-installs, re-installs, and telecommunications for all schools.
  • Review project documents and identify project deliverables and associated specifications and completion criteria. Write drafts for Invitation for Bids, Request for Proposals, and Request for Quotes Use risks and issues log to help mitigate risks.
