- Provisioning and deprovisioning database access across multiple database platforms including Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, MySQL, Sybase and DB2.
- Working closely with customers and end users through emails, conference calls and IM in identifying and resolving database access related issues.
- Creating Active Directory groups, users, and adding users to Active Directory groups.
- Creating and managing Linux users, adding them to Linux groups.
- Following the company’s policy in provisioning Oracle and SQL Server database users using SQL Developer, SQL Server Management Studio and IBM Tivoli.
- Creating and submitting Pac2000 Problem Tickets and Work requests to responsible support groups for database access related issues.
- Provisioning and de-provisioning bulk user access via project requests.
- Executing Work Requests and working on assigned Problem Tickets.
- Training and bringing new team members up to speed with Oracle, Sybase, Teradata, MySQL and SQL Server database provisioning and deprovisioning as well as getting them used to the environment.
- Working in collaboration with the DBAs to identify and resolve database access issues.
- Identifying stale data within DSAM’s database inventory and submitting updates from other sources like the Triage tool and WDAI inventory.
- Administering and monitoring ART Workflow, manually generating reports and assigning ART tickets.
- Creating new ART form mockups for onboarding SybaseIQ and MySQL databases.
- Overseeing the Teradata database onboarding project for new Teradata environments.
- Troubleshooting failed IES requests and manually completing them.
- Rewriting and updating documentations with new processes and procedures on Access management on the various database platforms, including Oracle, Sybase, MySQL, Teradata and SQL Server.
- Updating and implementing new and existing policies to be followed by the team to mitigate risk and stay compliant.
- Modifying and executing Linux shell scripts to automate Sybase audit jobs and Sybase maintenance
- Writing Oracle and SQL Server SQL scripts for bulk access management.
